Design
- Obverse
- A radiant royal crown (Phra Maha Mongkut) flanked by a royal umbrella on each side, set against a field of foliate scrollwork, though with less detail than the 1858 (B.E. 2401) tribute medal. Stars around the rim indicate the denomination; each star represents a value of 1 fueang.
- Reverse
- An elephant standing on the ground, facing left, at the center of the Phra Saeng Chakra (the royal discus). Stars along the rim equal in number to those on the obverse.
